They’ve been rockin honky tonks, festivals and Reservations across the southwest. With influences from Texas, Nashville, and the Navajo Nation, Dirt Rhodes aims to highlight Indigenous peoples’ long history with country and western music.
UNA (United Native Artists) is a music event and discovery platform for NDN-country designed to amplify and unite Native/Indigenous artists & musicians. All expression through modern-genres, traditional languages, and music styles will be encouraged and supported.
Thank you to the Gabrieleno/Tongva Band of Mission Indian Tribal Council for the support and invitation to film on this Sacred Land. Siban’gna – marks the first land-back transfer by a church to a California tribal government. It’s an honor to celebrate the returning of a portion of the original village site.
