We were honored to be invited by the Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture to present directly to the Minister at the Bosberaad. Yesterday, our team delivered a comprehensive presentation, and today, they had a brief but impactful conversation with the Minister.
We are deeply appreciative of the Minister's positive response. He expressed genuine admiration for our presentation and assured us of his unwavering support, with an official follow-up meeting already in the works.
The Minister was surprised to learn about the significant issues that are often hidden beneath the surface of our industry—issues that only become apparent when you look closely. Our presentation revealed that the state of our industry is far more precarious than it appears from the outside. The injustices and inequalities we highlighted are truly alarming, and it's clear that immediate action is required to prevent further decline.
We are hopeful that this marks the beginning of meaningful change for our industry.
