Blue Tiefling - Part II A story about the inner struggles, the outer struggles, and the blending of two. This is portrayed through the Blue Tielfling who is seen as a boxer working through the voices inside and outside their head. This idea of being a “demon,” how it feels so true to some and yourself at times, but ignores the universal fact that we all just want love, acceptance, and an overall good life despite all that is portrayed to us and by us. How one side is victimized by the other, by their self, creating an endless loop of hate and despair that leave us vulnerable to further manipulation until one day we might not recognize ourselves creating the blue demon to ourselves and the world around us. This shoot has never felt more relevant in a time where tensions are high, sides are being polarized, walls are being built, and no is really talking to understand anymore. Despite all that, I still dream of a better and brighter future. One filled of love, of joy, of forgiveness. Forgiveness not only for one another but also for ourselves and how we might have been abusing or neglecting what we need as humans living this human experience. Rejecting our own truths to fit in the broader of society, ultimately harming ourselves and undoubtedly others in the process too. As someone wise once said “hurt people hurt people.” While I don’t have all the answers I know we do collectively, it’s my hope and dream we come together, we come out of what has felt the pit of despair, of being desensitized, better and stronger. The future is unknown to us all, but I see many paths to the positive ones. Right here in our everyday, in our communities, and in our hearts. I see that coming to being through finding ways to love one another, to co-create, to play, to sing, to dance together, and ultimately spreading light. This is my dream and this is my hope, to bring this into our reality. ***Finished in the comments
