This feels like a sort of introduction to who we are.. for those of you who may not know!! We’re Dippy Bamba! Jack Dippy and Amba Bamba, melting together in our creative expression!
We started making music together 2 years ago, writing our own original music to empower people, sing about what we believe in and hopefully share some of our love into this world :) Before meeting Jack, Amber was completely new to the musical world.. We slowly built up our music together, working our way up to some very fun things :) You don’t have to have years of experience to try something new or do something you love. Creativity isn’t about perfection. It isn’t about years of training or even how it sounds. It’s about how it feels to you.. 90% of our relationship struggles are probably solved with music :p It brings us joy and life!! And we want more people to know!!!
For the last few months we’ve been travelling around Europe, busking everywhere we go and hopefully making some people smile! We do it because we love it. It feeds our souls!
And so yesterday we found ourselves at Europes tallest sand dune, after busking nearby during the day. What a wild place! The perfect place for a spot of music, too! It’s fun to bring the music with us wherever we go :)

The world is going through a lot at the moment…we see big things happening. In our own personal lives, in the lives of our loved ones and in the wider world that we see online.. How do we stay hopeful and choose peace, at a time of so much destruction? How do we feel safe, when so much terrible news is at our fingertips? How do we feel connected to our own inner power, when we can feel so hopeless amongst it all?
For us, we choose sound. We choose connecting to the words inside of us, the world around us and the power of our vibration. We choose to ripple out love, to do what we can to bring people together, to sing songs back to freedom. If we, as people, feel empowered..that is our most peaceful weapon against anything happening around us. Our strength, our communities and our voices will carry us. Our connection to the land will show us the way, remind us of where we came from.
We may not know all of the answers, when the world feels so unpredictable, but if we know how to stand as one, people and this earth, maybe we can find a sense of empowerment, that will lead us to rise up in love and hope <3
ahimsa.. the ancient spiritual practice of love for all beings. the sanskrit word for ‘non-violence’. it is non-violence towards those we share this land with. it is respect for all those we walk alongside.
today we found ourselves in this historical tunnel of violence upon the island of portland.. in halls once filled with the sounds of destruction, we sung our song. echoing in the chambers that once housed bombs, our sounds rippled through the concrete. we sung to the earth.. to the pain and violence that history has seen here. we sung for love to all living beings.
but these sounds of destruction continue to echo within the land. brothers and sisters in palestine are in pain at the hands of genocide. on this day, a uk flagged freedom ship is fighting to sail in to offer aid.. we must stand by these fighters for freedom, call out this genocide and stand by our family on this earth.

We’ve been catching up with family and resting this week, after a busy beltane celebration event last friday <3 Taking a little gap away from the social media this week, before the busyness of summer festivals kicks in! This bank holiday monday we spent a day in the sun, organised by @roxannephillipsofficial for journeyman! In honour of our dear dear Reni, who floated into the magical sky last year, we raised a bit of dosh for men’s mental health <3 There was cake, there was music and there was plenty of raffle tat!! (Thanks for our new mini hoover! Robinolo got a blooming got clean this morning!)
There were so many amazing musicians present, and we managed to get some videos of a few amongst the busyness <3 What a special day!! Roxy you are a legend!! We love you endlessly <3
JourneymanUK is an amazing charity, helping young boys feel honour and community as they journey towards becoming men. It is a place of loving connection, support and true brotherhood. These guys are doing unbelievably important work, helping the men of this beautiful world <3

Our festival season is beginning earlier and earlier each year!! This was a fun one to kick it all off!! Super cool to be close to the home lands for this one, playing alongside other magical local artists!

And big magical thank you to @mischaandthemerrymany for inviting us along for such an awesome weekend <3 The festival is such a beautiful cause to play for, coming together as musicians to help raise money for children’s cancer <3 It’s a true privilege to know such an honourable event is happening so close to home, and that we got to be a part of it. And what an honour to be on a lineup with so many other talented musicians too <3
Our next festival of the season will be @freezone_festival at the end of May, and @signaturebrewbh Vegan Stock Fest also at the end of May!
In the meantime, we’ve got our beltane event THIS FRIDAY!! Tickets are £15 on the door and it’s gonna be such a special celebration of summer and creative energy! We’d love to see some beautiful people there <3
Our first gig back in Bournemouth! Thank you so much @itslifefestival for having us to host the magical Ethical Business Showcase Stage! <3 It was a joyful Sunday affair, full of beautiful music, company and so much love!!
It’s been such a busy ride, floating back into the waves of bournemouth, connecting with everyone and feeling the rising energy towards summer! Our hearts are so full and our bodies are exhausted, but love is so deep amongst it allll <3
We’re gearing up for @teddyrocksfest this weekend on @merrywoodlandstage ! This will be our first festival of the season :0 Can’t believe it’s here already!! We’ll be sharing our full festival lineup very soon, so keep an eye out.. but for now, back to the lands of resting in the sunshine for us!! We love you <3
We’re back in England! After a long trip on the ol ferry, filled with bingo and quizzes, we have made it to Bournemouth! We’re spent the last few days catching up with our families, and today we’re diving back into our beautiful community and dear friends!!
We’re hosting voice activation tonight, charging the magical vibrations of Boscombe with beautiful sound waves!! :) We’ll also be dining on Bambas yummy vegan food, and sharing some blimmin good company!

Our last days have been spent visiting and sharing music by the glorious Mont Saint Michel- which @ambaa.bambaa is in the process of vlogging for the first time! Stay tuned it’s been very fun.
