It's taken me a few days to digest what has happened in the past 48 hours. As a parent it is so rewarding to watch your kids grow and navigate their own path in their own way. @nailah_adams , words can not express the immense pride I have watching you take that stage on May 5, 2026. Your journey has been eventful, fun, challenging but lastly, victorious! A 4⭐️ nationally ranked athlete, securing a full-ride, 4-year athletic scholarship to Rutgers, amidst 4 knee surgeries, medical retirement, crazy drama from athletic personnel, a roommate, grades, boys....you buckled down and persevered. Ending your final full semester with 4 A's (3 if which were a grade of 100%) and a B, you kicked ass, took names and made your mark. Your entrepreneurial mind is in full swing (stay tuned folks, she's got a plan) and I am excited to see your next chapter. You are amazing and it's an honor and privilege to be your mom. ❤️❤️ GG says well done, now it's time!! 💖💚

At Running Remote 2026, Dionn Schaffner, MBA challenged leaders to rethink how they operate in an AI-driven world.
Her message:
The best leaders don’t respond to complexity by tightening control.
They respond by designing better conditions.
In a world where AI accelerates decisions and output, leadership becomes about:
• Building trust at scale
• Designing for accountability and outcomes
• Creating space for healthy dissent and real participation
This isn’t about moving faster for the sake of speed.
It’s about making sure teams can keep up — without losing what makes them human.
If you’re leading distributed teams today, this shift isn’t optional.
It’s already happening.
Today we went to clean out the beds and prep for spring planting. Last year I thought I’d planted ivy to be a decorative climber on the arch trellis. Turns out, I had planted sweet potatoes! 😂
