The more years I work, the more I believe that less is often more. With makeup, it’s easy to get carried away, but my artistic restraint has grown alongside my confidence. Of course, some projects call for extra creativity, where I can really let loose. But most of the time, for me, beauty makeup is about balance - enhancing natural features rather than completely covering or changing someone’s face. We all want to feel confident while still looking like ourselves.
That being said, there’s no right or wrong way of doing things. It all comes down to personal preference. The beauty of makeup lies in its diversity, allowing artists to express themselves in countless ways. Different perspectives on makeup styles not only make this artistry versatile but also inspire creativity and innovation. After all, the unique choices each person makes contribute to a vibrant community, ensuring that there’s truly something for everyone.
