I want to encourage everyone to support these amazing women, these incredible artists, and the creative spaces they are building in our community. There is something powerful about being in rooms where healing, art, leadership, and purpose are all moving together.
What makes this weekend even more meaningful is that just a few days earlier, I was in the emergency room on Wednesday and Thursday dealing with terrible migraines. After an IV drip and some much needed care, I was blessed to be able to show up, connect, and be present for these beautiful moments.
I am so grateful for the new connections I am making, the ones I have already made, and the ones still waiting for me on the road ahead.
So, if I could leave you with one sentence of encouragement, it would be this: hold on, do not give up, and keep putting one foot in front of the other, because even when the path feels heavy, you are still moving toward your destiny.
Just a few words from your friendly neighborhood poet,
