It has been a beloved homemade candy store since 1989. Originally founded by Matt Magya, the shop was purchased by current owner Joyce Harris, whose connection to the store began long before she owned it. At just 14 years old Joyce worked at the shop and dreamed that one day she might have a chocolate shop of her own. In May 2021 that dream became a reality when she took over the business.

Today Harris continues the tradition of crafting exceptional handmade chocolates to keep locals and visitors coming back for more.

Stopped into Bahrs for martinis, fresh calamari, and delicious Yellowfin Nachos — and somehow had my own little comedy moment with the famous hard hat diver mannequin ⚓️😂 I accidentally backed into him, turned around, and for one split second thought he was a real person. After the mini heart attack, of course we had to pose for a photo together.
