the biggest experience i had this year, quite literally—seeing the blue whale in real life!! 🐋 as suggested by friends who had been there, i gotta go fast. so i learn how to swim faster in open water and got myself a pair of long fins. leg days also paid off. skin got sunburnt for the first time in my life but it's blue whale!!

a practice in drawing a landscape, this time i chose the view from the hill behind @air.dive in alor. we went up when the sun was at the most gorgeous ray of colors: warm yellow, peach, slightly pinkish. swipe to the very last slide to see the drawing process on ipad pro with procreate app.
archives of the first month of Q2, in between creative discipline, new creative practices that i adapted into my work (and it actually worked), connecting with my favorite people, got super busy with art market for @its.fruit.machine (actually did pretty well), and taking care of my plants🪴 april was side questing so hard, but to my surprise, i really enjoy everything. especially my time being at home, not on the go as much as last year. because being home means having routines that actually on the right track🏡
scuba diving always feel so personal to me, i feel calm most of the times because i feel like the ocean is giving me a hug whenever i'm descending into the blue. on my last series of diving in alor, it was a completely different experiences, compare to the previous ones. i really enjoyed everything that i was diving into, the colorful little fish, the sound of the corals, the tiny creatures, the cold water in the south, the rock formations, the current, the sun flare that goes into the pristine water. i love love love everything. thank you for taking me to these beautiful places @air.dive

• it's my third time here in alor, but the first time with @air.dive
• now i get it why everyone loves @air.dive 👀🤚🏻
• flights are crazy expensive these days but the plan goes with the plan
• i'm taking my rescue course in Alor, that's basically why i came here. friends said i can do it somewhere else. yes.... but...... i can also go to alor 🏄🏼♀️
• i got a new hooded vest to get me going with the cold water. though i look funny but it's very useful
• on the first day of diving in munaseli, i was a bit worried from my memories of it being pretty chaotic. but it was so chill (?!) then surprised by the appearance of one of my most favorite pelagics, the hammerhead sharks! 🤯💙
• came as 1 pax but immediately made friends with the people i met there 🐠
• the water is so blue, life is beautiful✨
@beyondthevines sent me their reworked tool bag called Leather Canvas Carryall 1.5 - Natural Colourblock last week and I love it more than i expected. the bag is so much nicer in real life. it quickly became the bag that carries my journal, acrylic markers, washi tapes and pieces of my colored papers as a hobby bag that i can easily carry everywhere. i love how it allows me to create with more supplies that i needed when i'm not home. i call it the no screen time bag, because who needs to scroll when i got everything i need to draw & cut and paste in the journal? 🤷🏻♀️ major love @beyondthevines ☘️💕
