Contrast of mindset is what I had in mind while styling this abaya. How certain people attach fixed expectations to specific clothing pieces, as if they belong to rigid categories in their mind.
In reality, fashion is a space where those rules don’t have to exist
It can be twisted, broken, and reinterpreted freely. Fashion is art, and art is meant to make you feel something;sometimes discomfort, sometimes pleasure, sometimes even numbness.
And for that, I want to thank everyone who helped this project come to life as it is.
