I named my show HIGH NOON because it was one of my mother‘s favorite westerns. Before she passed our last conversations were about the importance of WESTERNS and how it depicted modern society -love, ignorance, hope and survival.

HIGH NOON IS IN …
Join me from 12 to 2pm on NTS RADIO
The mix was inspired by Robert Longo‘s “Men in the Cities”
Viewed under a Reganesque lens of an era of wealth, corruption, and corporate assent Longo‘s figures or elegant, but unraveling the SUITS that signal power are falling apart by invisible forces. A silent scream in a power suit.

I revere this 🎥
Logan’s Run (Michael Anderson, 1976)
Music by Jerry Goldsmith
Logan’s run serves as a dystopian mirror . Total surveillance, no aging, no questioning authority, hedonism as distraction. The planet is essentially dead. On the last viewing, I finally caught on that they’re eating people because there is no longer an ecosystem.

HIGH NOON IS INN…
“Flowers In the Attic” Welcoming Spring with a mix of 80s synthee vibes for your afternoon flight

One mighty love 🖤🎶
I revere this 🎥
Silent Rage ( Michael Miller, 1982)
Pre-Terminator - what happens when humanity creates something it cannot kill both Silent Rage and The Terminator carry the same themes.
Silent Rage leans even more directly into slasher territory, both films share the same stocking pursuit of their prey . Chuck Norris is fantastic one of my all time fav performances and Brian Libby as the killer is a barn burner 🎥
Adieu Chuck Norris 🌹🙏

“LAND OF BROKEN DREAMS”
Love as a form of resistance☮️💟
as I watch the daily horror unfold, I reflect back on FLOWER POWER. This was a moment born of watching too much destruction, violence, corruption, war and racism.
For this brief moment, it felt like love might win, but the dream didn’t last forever by 1969. The Manson murders happened. there was no longer an open door policy. Hippies were now dangerous and to be feared.
I still believe that love changes people whenever the world fails again with anger, division, and violence. The answer is always the same.
Love is… the movement ❤️
