LOVE TO LOVE
I’ve always had a soft spot for fixies — yeah, those colorful bikes that ruled around 2011–2012. Back then, I fell for the looks. Bright, bold, simple. They just felt young and cool, something different from the usual rides.
But of course, I was still a student with no income — so all I could do was dream, hahaha.
Fast forward to 2017–2018 — finally earning my own money — and guess what? I bought my first fixie! Nothing fancy, just a basic custom frame. Didn’t even know much about geometry or brands yet. But man, that feeling when a long-time dream finally comes true? Unbeatable.
Then it began — the upgrades, the obsession, the late-night scrolling for parts, hahaha. I started learning deeper about setup, comfort (well, and looks, let’s be real 😆). I’ve always believed in buying something that lasts — if you take care of it, it’ll stay with you for life.
Years later, I upgraded again, went deeper into the culture, and finally got the dream setup — the one you see in the first slide. No brand talk, just stories and moments that speak for themselves.
But the real story behind all this goes back to one thing —
LOVE TO LOVE.
At first, I loved fixies for the colors and simplicity — even though, yeah, no brakes haha. Then it became my daily ride to work before I got married. It’s a piece of my youth that stayed, something that turned from “I like it” into “I live it.”
From this bike, I met amazing people, made new friends, found creative collaborations, even kept my passion for photography alive (well, until that camera got stolen 😅). Fixies gave me more than just rides — they gave me stories.
Respect to the friends who became the story behind thes photos
