I’m hitting the road. On March 31st I start my first trip to Europe as a guest tattoo artist.
For now the confirmed destinations are Amsterdam and Berlin, but new cities might be added along the way. You can check the updated schedule here on my profile.
My work is focused on flow, always guided by the natural curves of the body. Most of my projects are developed after a conversation with each client, thinking about the anatomy and the movement of the area.

Dani was my first client in Amsterdam. As he told me, he had been wanting a project like this for a while and had finally found someone to bring the idea to life.
The initial idea was to create something that would flow through the side of the hand. With a bit of direction, we arrived at this composition, which I think fits the hand really well.
Thank you for trusting me with this piece. It was a great way to start my time in Amsterdam with such a strong project.

Desde que criei esse desenho, fiquei muito empolgado para o momento em que ele encontraria um corpo. O Kay encontrou meu perfil e logo já reservou a sessão.
Essa região tem uma anatomia muito interessante de trabalhar, e esse pontinho que aparece em algumas das minhas artes foi um dos detalhes que mais chamou atenção nele.
Fico muito feliz em encerrar essa viagem com uma arte que eu queria tanto realizar. Gostei muito de Berlim e mal posso esperar para voltar.

Esse foi o meu segundo dia tatuando em Berlim. O Tyson foi uma das últimas pessoas a entrar em contato e, mesmo assim, conseguimos desenvolver um projetão ☺️
Eu gosto muito de trabalhar nessa região do corpo, principalmente a interação entre cotovelo e ombro. O encaixe anatômico funciona muito bem e abre possibilidades para explorar o desenho em diferentes ângulos.
A sessão foi incrível. Dava pra ver o quanto o Tyson estava empolgado com a tatuagem, e é sempre muito bom acompanhar a satisfação no final.

Assim foi o meu primeiro dia tatuando em Berlin.
O caminho inteiro de casa até o estúdio parecia um museu, muita arte de rua por todos os lados. O estúdio @oekfactoryberlin é incrível, foi exatamente por isso que escolhi ele, eu gosto muito dessa estética mais industrial.
Depois da sessão, fui em um lugar que é praticamente o paraíso para quem curte fingerboard, @asi_berlin_shop . O lugar é absurdo 💜

Este foi um projeto em que o Deniz me procurou para fazer uma cobertura. A tatuagem original era uma fine line grande, próxima ao cotovelo. Haviam outras tattoos ao redor que achei interessantes e que poderiam conversar com a anatomia.
Mesmo sendo fine line, o tamanho da tattoo exigia uma solução mais ampla para a cobertura. Para equilibrar melhor o conjunto, expandi o fluido para a parte superior do braço, criando uma composição que interage com a anatomia e também se aproxima das outras tattoos já existentes.
No final, o resultado ficou bem integrado, respeitando o corpo e conectando todos os elementos de forma natural.

This was a very challenging project. Jaff initially wanted to combine a fluid piece with a snake at the end. We explored that idea quite a bit, but in the end we decided to go with a fully fluid approach, which I personally prefer ☺️
It’s a piece I thought would take much longer, but we managed to finish it in a single session. I really like how bold the black is and the way the design flows and spreads across the arm.

This piece came from one of my available projects. Danny found me on Instagram and we initially started developing a custom idea, but after some time he came across one of my available designs and decided to go with it.
I’ve really been enjoying the connection with my clients lately. Danny is from the Caribbean and has been living in Amsterdam for a few years. He told me he spends a lot of his time surfing, which is why this piece made sense for him.

Essa tattoo foi pra um manezinho raiz, o querido do @felipebesen.ink . Além de meu companheiro de trabalho, ele também é fundador do @opuntiastudio , espaço onde trabalho em Florianópolis.
Ele tinha um espaço vazio que não era tão simples de preencher, então desenvolvemos um projeto pensado pra esse lugar, buscando algo que conversasse com as outras tattoos dele. Eu curto muito essa estética, quando tudo se conecta no corpo. Um dos pontos principais do projeto foi essa voltinha acompanhando a manga da camisa 🤌🏼
