Today I’m one year sober from alcohol! I used to drink a lot almost every single night for years to help cope with my anxious personality. I’ve made some poor choices because of it and wasn’t helping myself. I decided one day not to live my life like that anymore. It was tough in the beginning and it still has its moments, but it does get easier if you can find the strength to keep going. Now I just slam Diet Cokes at the bar and call it a night, safely.
