Waterproofing this barrel sauna today for one of our good customers, he was sick of it always being wet inside from the rain and we took care of that by installing a fibreglass rack for the metal to sit on and create an air layer of 1/2” then a layer of synthetic underlayment, and capped with 26g textured matt black S-Lock panels.
He’s happy, we are happy, and it was a fun day doing something different, that’s why we love Muskoka!

Very proud of the work our crew did on this job, we stripped off all the old asphalt shingles installed a full titanium PSU 30 underlayment and then installed 3/4” #1 perfection, blue label, hand split, BC red cedar shakes, with all black 26g metal trims to the entire cottage, two Bunkies, woodshed and the outdoor kitchen area. These buildings will now match the Bunkie and boathouse that were completed last year.

Here’s another project we recently completed, this time it was a repair to a five year-old roof where the chimney had leaked since the day it was installed, this customer had had enough of the leaking and called us in to replace all the cedar sections around the chimney and redo the copper barrel roof and copper flashing on the chimney, we went for a site visit with the customer today and everything is working as it should
