Always a great time coaching my clients :) Seeing them become stronger, more confident, and more involved in every session is one of the most rewarding feelingsâ¨
Iâm truly grateful for this sportđĽ Because it connects me with amazing people who share the same mindset, discipline, growth, and the willingness to push beyond limits!
When you work with your heart and do something you genuinely love, it never feels like work. It becomes purposeđ¤
Do what you love, work with your heart and the money will followđŻ
Grateful for every round, every lesson, and every person I meet along this journey.
Have a fuckin great day! đđźâĄď¸

@garciaboxing explains why the heavy bag is essential for every boxerđĽ
The heavy bag isnât just for hitting hard. It builds conditioning, proper technique, and combination punching. Itâs where fighters learn to sit down on their shots, control their balance, and sharpen their powerđĽâĄď¸
Round after round, the heavy bag develops the habits that show up in the ring.
Master the bag, master the basics. đĽâ¨

We pushed each other every session.
Trash talk, ego, pride all part of the workout. Thatâs how mental toughness was built!
We came from combat sports. Competition wasnât optional, it was the environmentđ
We didnât âprotect our energyâ we tested it! Talking shit was part of the program. No breathing drills. No mindset quotes. Just pressuređš Nowadays people call it âtoxicâ when you get pushedđ¤Łđ We called it âTuesdayâđ
Different era. Different mindset.

âIF YOU SLIP BEFORE YOUR OPPONENT THROWS, YOUâRE NOT COUNTERPUNCHING, YOUâRE GUESSING.â
In this private boxing training session, Iâm teaching my client a game-changing technique focused on ring generalship and counterpunching.
This advanced boxing drill breaks down key fundamentals: stepping into range with the jab to bait your opponent, reading and slipping counter punches, and finishing with proper footwork angles.
Key boxing techniques covered:
- Stepping into range with the jab to create offensive opportunities
- Establishing a strong base and reading your opponentâs reactions
- Baiting counters by staying in the pocket
- Proper slip and roll timing, waiting for the actual counter instead of anticipating early
- Angling out after combinations to smother your opponentâs power while creating your own
I also correct common mistakes fighters make during this drill, such as stepping in without commitment and slipping too early before the opponent throws. These errors prevent the opponent from countering, which defeats the purpose of the bait. By staying in front with good positioning after the jab, the fighter creates an opening that draws the opponentâs straight punch, exactly what we want.
This drill is perfect for boxers looking to improve their counterpunching skills, ring IQ, and advanced combination work. Whether youâre training for amateur boxing, professional fights, or simply want to elevate your skills in the gym, this drill will help develop the timing, patience, and tactical awareness needed to dominate exchanges.

Pad holding should feel like a fight, realistic pressure, real timing, and true reactions. When the pads move like an opponent, your combinations, balance, defense, and fight IQ grow with every round. Donât just hit targets, train to solve problems under pressure.
