- I picked up a camera and started doing street photography full-time in 2023, and it’s been a great journey of creative freedom and exploring cities across the UK. Today, I travelled to Manchester to explore the city with friends who are also creatives. This particular video is one I’ve wanted to recreate for the longest time, and I’m glad I finally got my friend ( @cinemmaofficial ) to film it. #streetphotography #photography #photographer #street #streetstyle #photograph #iphone17promax #fujifilm #fujifilmx100v #street #photos #streeteverywhere #uk #london #published #streetlife

A LAGOS STORY It’s been two weeks since I started documenting the city of Lagos. These are photos from my new photography project titled LAGOS. This project documents the everyday life of Lagos and Lagosians — the mundane, the hustle, and the bustle of one of the busiest cities in the world. My goal is to see and capture what fascinates me through my iPhone and Fujifilm camera. Lagos — a city, a world, a place that accommodates everyone from different parts of Nigeria. 📷 : Shot on iPhone 17 pro. @apple #photography #lagos #streetphotography #shotoniphone #nigeria

GRATEFUL Recently, I have been enjoying photography more and more, a passion of mine for a long time. Today, I decided to take a pause and appreciate my filmmaking journey in Nollywood and share some of my directorial projects. I appreciate all the teams I have worked with over the years for ensuring that these films have reached audiences across Nigeria, Africa, and the world. I am grateful for the AMVCA nominations. I am grateful for “About A Boy” winning the 8th Prix Du Public in 2021. I am grateful for “When Are We Getting Married” being nominated at the AMVCA 2023 for Best TV Show. These are just a few, and I’m thankful for the ones yet to come. ❤️ #Director #Filmmaking #Nollywood

Diji Aderogba is a talented visual storyteller whose work blends film and still photography. After earning two AMVCA nominations for directing, he transitioned into professional street style photography in 2023, quickly becoming known for capturing the vibrant energy of Lagos and the UK. Through a mix of fashion, documentary, and editorial photography, Diji treats the streets as a living gallery, using his lens to tell cinematic stories about people and the spaces they inhabit. What makes his work stand out is his ability to freeze everyday urban moments into detailed, carefully composed images. Inspired by documentary photographers like Andre D. Wagner, Diji transforms ordinary city scenes into meaningful visual records through his use of natural light, movement, and composition. His work, which includes a published zine and international exhibitions, highlights the unique relationship between fashion, identity, and city life. Diji’s street style photography especially shines in the way it captures personal expression within the chaos of urban environments. From silhouettes and textures to fleeting moments on busy streets, his images turn fashion into a storytelling tool, presenting everyday people as the main characters of their own journeys. - Andrew Dosunmu ( @shot_by_andrew_dosunmu ) has made the street his studio, and he’s been unstoppable! As a photographer and director, I find myself looking at Andrew’s work, and I’m always in awe of his storytelling style, especially through some of his photographs. A few weeks ago, I found his photo book, “Dosunmu Monograph,” and started looking through some of the images from his catalog spanning almost three decades. Again, this is one visual artist who has dedicated his life to documenting Black culture and its essence. Many of his photographs are taken on the streets of different places, documenting people, beliefs, and communities. There’s something refreshing about how he takes his shots, composes them, and just his simplicity in storytelling is unique and unbelievable! These are some of the images I find really interesting, and as a fellow photographer who has also started documenting places, people, and everything that makes a community, he’s surely one of my role models. #photography

Documenting Lagos, Nigeria 🇳🇬 In Lagos, the hawkers are part of the city’s heartbeat. From the early hours of the morning to late at night, they move through traffic carrying goods on their heads, calling out to customers with strength and determination. Their hustle reflects the hardworking spirit of Lagos — a city where people wake up every day ready to chase survival, support their families, and build a better future through resilience and hard work. #streetphotography #photography #documentaryphotographer #lagosnigeria🇳🇬 #photographer

Documenting Lagos, Nigeria Lagos, a city that seems to be fast-paced—everyone going by their own rules, with hustle seeming natural yet always on the move. These shots were taken in motion to show how the city moves and what it reveals. Shot on iPhone @apple #streetphotography #photography #shotoniphone #documentaryphotography #africa

- Morocco 🇲🇦 (2025) Documentary photography gives you the space and freedom to travel and document places, people, beliefs, and experiences of a group of people. This is one of the reasons why I love what I do - the ability to integrate myself into different spaces and appreciate new experiences. These are some of the images in my archive that I photographed during my trip to Morocco 🇲🇦 - I look forward to traveling more across Africa, documenting the beauty of the places and people of Africa.
