Last year we made a major investment in our production capabilities with the addition of the JWEI JCUT Digital Cutting System.
This high‑end, industrial digital cutting solution has genuinely raised the bar for what we can deliver.
It glides through aluminium composite (often known as Dibond) with ease, polishes acrylic to a finish so clean it looks like glass, and has completely upped our game in cardboard engineering — opening up new possibilities for point of sale, retail activations and event graphics.
The precision, consistency and flexibility the JCUT brings to the shop floor has allowed us to push design boundaries, improve efficiency and deliver a higher‑quality finished product across a wider range of substrates.
Investing in the right technology isn’t just about speed, it’s about capability, creativity and confidence in what we can produce. A year on, the JCUT has more than proven its value.
Find out how our cutting edge technologies can help to turn your ideas into reality.

A contact of ours got in touch, they were looking to make a new unit pop as their client's business entered an exciting new chapter.
A brand direction handled superbly by Katie @boldism needed a high end and vibrant graphic solution, and we were proud to deliver.
The main scope was to create a window front that shouted from the rooftops that this place meant business! Through testing a variety of vinyls to make sure we could get the colour just right, we passed off the samples and got to work, making sure that all of the graphics were finished with a 5-7 year UV laminate to ensure that the graphics looked as vibrant for years to come.
"We were looking to punch hard colour wise on this one” David from DP Sign & Display told us, “I've known Katie for a very long time, we had to match her own energy and vibrancy with our graphics, and all parties were really impressed with the outcome”

Following last year's success, we returned to @royalarmouriesmuseum to produce and install the graphic branding for this year's event. This time it was on behalf of @wellspringacademytrust .
There was a large focus this year on cardboard-engineered graphics for sustainable, short-term use branding as well as various graphics produced from Easy Dot (our lowest tac, short term, self adhesive vinyl). We successfully completed a high end yet temporary look that was also kinder to the environment than delivered, in previous years.
DP Sign and Display designed the freestanding cardboard products with templates provided to the client, so that artwork could be safely placed without the need to trouble the client with how these would go together - we had already figured it out!
As is normal with events we had a very short window for installation. However, since this is the 12th private event at The Royal Armouries we have partnered on in the last 12 months alone, we have become experts at managing the workload in a short window.
Contact us today to discuss your project.

We were thrilled to support AMI with the design and installation of a brand new balcony display area at their assembly yard.
We were tasked to create a backdrop that’s as impactful as it is practical - and we think this delivers.
This project is a great example of true collaboration. We partnered with @digitalplus1999 , who supported the structural design, print and installation, while AMI built the frame. Together, we brought the space to life with a striking London skyline visual - subtly edited and finished with clean, strategic logo placement to keep it bold, but beautifully on-brand.
Rather than opting for a standard vinyl banner, we recommended a more durable, long-term solution to maximise both quality and impact. The final installation features a seamless image printed across 7 premium metal composite panels — built to withstand the elements and maintain its finish for years to come. This impressive structure is 10m wide x 3.1m high and has a premium laminate finish so it has up to 7 years outdoor durability.
The result was a high-end, visually powerful display that transforms a functional space into something memorable.
This is what happens when creative meets practical thinking 🤝
The internationally acclaimed exhibition "Gladiators: Heroes of the Colosseum" arrived at the @royalarmouriesmuseum in Leeds, from 28 June to 2 November 2025.
Having spent over a decade supplying the Royal Armouries, we were thrilled to be chosen to partner on what was a very important exhibition for the West Yorkshire-based heritage destination.
We are in the fortunate position with the armouries, in that we have surveyed nearly every possible area of the site. This to allows us to pull ideas together very quickly, although this project included a brand new area and one that would bring challenge and some creative thinking.
We carried out a high level survey on the exterior walls facing the canal to understand how we could fit large flex face graphic frames, allowing for an interchangeable space not just for this event but for future events as well.
The lack of access space, combined with a very uneven ground surface made this a very difficult project where weight of graphic, crew and machine had to be calculated to avoid risk. We were very happy to come up with a solution where we could utilise the space, which we think looks amazing!
This completed a project that utilised a variety of products: flags, character standees, posters, panel work, lift graphics and banners.
We're always looking for new and exciting projects to partner on - if you have such a challenge for us, we'd love to get involved!

When our Production Manager Lee joined us last year, he had a number of ideas to improve our efficiencies and customer experience. One of these aims was to acquire our own sewing machine.
The major benefit that this has brought to our operation that this allows us to finish a wider variety of fabrics and banner grade vinyls in house, maintaining full quality control. This means that it reduces any delays in finishing our print work off-site via a third party, meaning we are often able to turn jobs around even faster.
If you're looking for quality banner graphics, please give us a call to discuss.

We have supplied @xscapeyorkshire since its doors opened back in 2003. They had trusted us repeatedly to offer solutions, so when the lift shaft needed to be refurbished they came to us for ideas.
It had been under maintenance and was a construction area for some time, but it was now complete and ready for the next phase. This large space offered an incredible branding opportunity due to its prominent location in the centre.
We surveyed the lift shaft and elevator areas to allow us to create digital templates for Xscape's creative agency, giving them peace of mind that the creative would fit exactly. Robust aluminium composite finished with an anti-scuff coating, was produced and fitted perfectly outside of centre hours to really enhance the space.
“The centre is on my doorstep, so it’s a place I visit frequently with my family. It’s great to see our work out there and the difference it can make to an environment!" - David Brisk, Sales Director at DP Sign & Display.
