About a year ago, I bought art supplies to explore cutting and collaging. While I wasn’t entirely sure what I was doing, it opened up new creative possibilities for me. This random creative urge arose from feeling that photos and videos weren’t enough anymore—and that’s okay; I just wanted more.
This untitled piece is dedicated to @essence magazine. Thank you for being a premier lifestyle, fashion, and beauty magazine for Black women 🫶🏼. My mom gave these to me, and I knew I had to create something special 📖

In honor of me starting a new chapter as a Social Media Manager, here’s a throwback to a project that meant a lot to me this year.
For #HispanicHeritageMonth, I presented a project called “Talk the Talk: A Conversation on Language,” where we interviewed members of the overall @rutgersu community about their relationship to language, identity and community.
This project was born out of me not having the best relationship with speaking Spanish. I made it a point to create through this feeling. Watch these perspectives, I wasn’t alone 🫶🏼
