I don’t hand-code most of my apps from scratch anymore — and that bothers people more than it should.
So let me say it clearly:
I still own the architecture.
I still review the code.
I still debug.
I still connect the stack.
I still ship to production.
I still take responsibility for what gets built.
I just use AI-native tools to move faster.
That’s not cheating. That’s leverage.
Some people are emotionally attached to the old process, so they confuse manual effort with real skill. But the future belongs to builders who can direct systems, not just type inside them.
And yes — you do have access to the codebase. In tools like v0, the code is there, it can connect to GitHub, and it can be taken into real production workflows.
I’m not ashamed of building with the tools of this era.
I’d be ashamed of seeing the future clearly and pretending not to.
I used to be Ashamed of Vibe Coding, but now once I embraced the fact that it helps me build faster, serve clients better, and live freer. It’s ok if some companies won’t understand the future until it’s already here!
