CHAPTER FOUR: Seeking Freedom in Technology
In this episode, we delve into @theerastudio_ use of technology during her commision Boundless Body for @digitalbodyfestival . The film looks at her aim to expand imagination and nestle into the inner landscape of a neurodivergent person.
Boundless Body saw the use of SOMI-1 MIDI sensors, Isadora, Ableton, TouchDesigner, and live motion/sound capture, @theerastudio_ has been developing ways to turn emotion and movement into real-time visual and sonic landscapes. For Elizabeth, having ADHD and dyslexia can be a frustrating experience, but Tech, in this commission, became a creative ally, a way to express emotions that words can’t reach.
