Things feel like they’re moving slow and fast at the same time lately. Had to get stitches put back in from my January surgery because it still hasn’t healed.
At the same time, my daughter’s growing like crazy and life’s been busy in the best way.
Ready to get back on a board and back to 100% soon…7 screws, 4 ligaments and all.

Was hoping to get better news today but at least there’s some progress. The bone fusion in my foot hasn’t completely taken yet, so I have to stay off it a little longer. They’re giving me something called a bone stimulator (insert Beavis and Butthead laughter) to improve healing. Can’t wait to heal up and “get back to normal, if I ever was.” That’s a literal quote my surgeon said to me. @boxytoes can back me up on that. 😅

The tree is taller than Rylan.
This feels like it should matter.
There’s always something bigger, stronger, steeper, more annoying than whatever you just cleared. Call it growth. Call it life lessons. Call it whatever makes it feel less like getting owned on a loop.
Everything exists in this sloppy balance of trying and getting interrupted. We overthink it, write it down, staple it together, and pretend it says something important.
What does it all mean? Don’t know. Didn’t check.
