Echinacea flower sprouted unexpectedly from seeds planted last summer. Thank you @jhajheri for a gift that keeps on giving. Another triumph of neglectful gardening. Leave it alone, let it grow.
Part of the reason I post photos of my plants is to remember what they are - just had to refer to an old photo to remember this is called dianthus- I’ve had it for some years and it is going strong! #containergardening
It’s been a bad year for my garden, which was relocated and downsized, but the blackberry lily from @seedkeeping has bloomed for the first time. Other bright spots: I don’t know where it came from but moss rose sprouted in two pots (the multicolored flowers) - and the telephium and purslane are doing just fine with little to no intervention on my part. My strawberry seeds I think were mostly eaten by birds and have failed to grow much at all. 🤷🏻♀️
