Shoutout fanclubwallet and shoutout Ottawa (never been but I’m sure it’s cool). I’ve kept up with the band since they released Car Crash in G Major back in 2020 and have loved what they’ve put out since. It was my first time catching Peaer, the local band that opened on that wholesome Thursday night. I’ll be making one or two more issues before the end of the month and will see you all then

Saw a cool show at TV Eye in late March. I stumbled upon Sun Organ’s music about a year ago and was stoked to see that they were gonna be in the area. The rest of the bill were local bands that were just as talented. It happened to be Ringing’s release show for their album ‘another cycle in the cosmic wash,’ and I’m happy I got to celebrate and document the night. If you want to order a copy you can go through the link in the bio. There’s another issue coming in a week featuring a band from Ottawa

I caught Pop Music Fever Dream and Lip Critic’s sold out show at a laundromat in Brooklyn. Thank you to Carmen for having me out. PMFD sets are always incredibly exciting to document. You can grab an issue, among other things, through the link in the bio. I’m in the process of designing the next issue, which will most likely be out next Monday, and I’ll be covering another show this week.

Went to a cool DIY show at a warehouse in Brooklyn late February. There’s a section that documents behind the scenes, along with detail shots of trinkets and beer cans placed around the venue. Copies are available in print through the link in my bio. Got a few exciting shows coming up over the next three weeks.

Got to catch this stacked lineup for a sold out show at Night Club 101 earlier this month. Shoutout to @rocknite.ny for making Monday nights fun. You can grab an issue through the store link in the bio. I’ll be catching up with @peanut_band this weekend for the next issue

Late in January I caught up with Firstsex and got to hear about their exciting upcoming year. A few days after, I went out to Baker Falls to see this lineup on a below freezing Friday night. Pick up an issue to see and read all about it. Zines and more can be found through the store link in the bio.

The last issue of 2025 is here. Although it was 8 degrees on a Sunday night, I couldn’t miss seeing this stacked lineup from Pennsylvania. The zine is 8.5” x 11” and 16 pages total — send a DM for a copy or two. I’ll be taking a break from shows in January to work on merch, a website, and a FAQ post so things will be easier to find. I’m also planning on doing a giveaway for the zine’s two-year anniversary, so keep a lookout for that in February.

TV Buddha, Godcaster, and Horsegirl at The Hancock, shot on Kodak 400TX B&W 35mm film. Contact sheets were hand printed in a darkroom on RC paper. Without any hesitation, this was the coolest show I’ve been to in my eight year career — nothing will beat a gig held in a mansion built in the late 1800s. Horsegirl is one of my all-time favorite bands; it was my third time seeing them live, and my first time seeing TV Buddha (Chicago) and Godcaster (Brooklyn) — both delivering extremely impressive and unforgettable sets. 16 pages total — $15 in NYC, $25 shipped — DM to order. Covering one more show, and possibly another, before the end of the year.

Had the pleasure of covering Mercury and Arcy Drive’s sold-out show at Webster Hall earlier this month. This venue holds a special place in my heart and has been something of a second home to me since 2019. It marks the beginning of my journey in this career and was a turning point in my identity as both an artist and a person. This issues 14 pages total — $15 NYC / $25 out. DM to order. The next issue was shot on 35mm film in a super cool location. I’ve been following one of the bands for the past few years and consider them to be one of my all time favorites. This release will take about two weeks — I need some time to make prints in the darkroom — but I can’t wait to share it with you all.

The last issue from October is here, featuring some new and familiar faces. I recently discovered tracks from Upchuck’s 2022 album “Sense Yourself” and 2023 album “Bite The Hand That Feeds.” It wasn’t until recently that I dug a bit deeper into those projects, as well as their most recent album, “I’m Nice Now.” They were supported by local bands AFK, who I’d seen once before, and TVOD, who were featured in an issue about a year ago. 14 pages total. $15 nyc / $25 out — DM to order. New issue next Monday.

Stoked to have caught Peel Dream Magazine’s sold-out show in early October at Night Club 101, with support from Shower Curtain. I first saw them a few years back at College Street Music Hall in New Haven, CT and fell in love with their sound. 14 pages, $15 nyc and $25 out. There’s one more October issue on the way and some exciting shows lined up for the end of the year.

Finally getting out the October issues. My first time — and hopefully not my last time — seeing Dusk and my 5th (?) time seeing Hotline TNT. Shot on 35mm Kodak 400TX black and white film. Hand printed the contact sheets in the darkroom. 16 pages total. DM to order
