OVER THE MOON to announce that we’re taking part in the Leith Jazz and Blues Festival this year. Obviously it’s a first for us and our team have been working hard on bringing new events down to the venue. Come down on Sunday evening at 7pm for some blues-y to wind down the week with @harryhammerhiggs 🪕🎸🎶 We also have a fun event on the Saturday afternoon with Bluegrass Whiskey…it would be rude not to get involved with the sweet nectar after all🥃🎷 #edinburghpub #leithpub #diggersleith #leithjazzandbluesfestival #whisky

Delighted to share that next Sunday (17th May) we are hosting the wonderful Anna Larkin with her new show Mighty Sips: Dram Time. Expect comedy, some tunes and a host of golden nectar to accompany. What better place than to enjoy a show and a dram than our new whisky neighbourhood watering hole. Join us @ 6pm. Pay what you can. #leithpub #diggersleith #whisky #edinburghpub #cabaret

This launched last year as Dalry Milk as an Aprils fool. The lawyers quickly got a cease and desist sent over but not before our sister pub bought 90 bottles. It didn’t last long as it’s damn fine liquid, you can certainly taste chocolate. North British 16yo Oloroso and Palo Cortado cask 45.4% £4.50/35ml

Just wanted to give you all an update on our progress. Times are tough in the trade at the moment of that there’s no doubt! However we have been absolutely blown away by the support shown to us. We were on a month to month rolling lease but delighted to say we just signed a new 5 year lease. The function room (it needs a name, snug, bothy, penthouse let us know your thoughts) is getting painted next week. It’s already filling up with bookings! The whisky keep manufacturer miscounted and we will only have space for 20 bottles. Kitchen refurb is planned so will expand the menu as soon as it’s done. Still no news on sports, they’re still wanting £2k a month for sky alone. Outside seating license has been applied for, we will extend it when it gets warmer. Our 1st whisky tasting is in the diary, lots more planned. Will hopefully get the extra cask lines installed asap. The lineup is still changing while we find out what you like. Thankyou to you all and thanks to the staff, especially my wife Claire. If you have any requests, complaints or suggestions feel free to message me. Kev Slainte

We love a glencadam. Some of the best value whisky about. It was built in 1825 and just celebrated its 200th birthday. Delighted to announce they will hold the 1st tasting in out soon to be decorated function space. 15th April 7:30, tickets cost £20 for about 5 fabulous drams. Book your place at the bar.

Great getting the chance to pop into the @diggersleith yesterday! Very different vibe at the moment from the @athleticarms , bit cosier, bit more modern feeling... The selection of drams on offer is still unbelievable though, and literally a stones throw from The Shore tram stop 🚋🚋 Congratulations to the Digger's team on a great spot, can see a return visit in the immediate future 🥃🥃 #whisky #whiskypub #whiskygram #edinburgh #diggersleith
