A bit late posting this... I was really saddened to hear about the passing of Danny Dann last week. 🙏Rest in peace🙏 you’ll be truly missed, brother.
It was an honour to release some of his incredible mixes on cassette and CD over the years… In my opinion, he was on another level when it came to mixtapes - the depth of selection, the flow, the mad drops, he mastered the art, one of the very best to ever do it. A true pioneer.
I was lucky enough to have many fascinating conversations over the phone hearing about him coming up as a DJ in the 70s, to his record collecting, to the history behind the Dusty Fingers comps. He was a wealth of knowledge and a genuine legend.
