The response to the first Filmfort Pitch Contest was incredible! We received 24 submissions from filmmakers across the country. The pitches spanned genres from documentary to comedy, drama to Western and beyond. The judges had their hands full with picking a winner. Five finalist had the opportunity to give in-person pitches to the judges and they all came so prepared with materials to show off their grand ideas.
Congratulations to Creston Brown on winning the first annual contest. A collaboration between @microdose_cinema / @storyandpixel / @different.animals brought to the filmmaking community during @treefortfest . And a huge thank you to @idaho.film for being a Filmfort sponsor, providing a space for these filmmakers to pitch their projects, and being an invaluable hub to filmmakers and film lovers in Idaho.
