It’s crazy how this came about honestly & so grateful it happened. After a week of HUSTLING to finish the Darko record, @rigatonitom and I had been joking about him featuring on a DYNG song cause like .. how sick would it be to hear him on a pop song. Playing this music in a live setting has been a labor of love, and for me, a huge learning experience. The whole process has felt like new territory as most music I’ve done in the past has been more raw, shoot from the hip, heavy music. (which oddly enough seeped into the DYNG set lmao) This just feels like a different beast, but like in a cool way. Anyway. I can’t wait for the next one, but I can’t really think about that today cause I have to immediately shift gears for .. some other things. Soooooo ya know, keep an eye out. 🤙🏼

The mood shift from previous visuals felt necessary — almost like the punishing pull back to reality after a dreamlike high. Something that felt like it furthered the narrative without presenting a direct story. Something that felt alone but strangely unbothered.

It was insightful hearing your lyrical interpretations yesterday — there’s a fine line between writing something direct and something ambiguous; for me, I find my goal is often to connect with one person while not ostracizing another.
