I love you with all my heart Coffee ❤️ today we say goodbye to my best friend, and loving dog. The grief and emptiness I feel is overwhelming and going to take time for me to get used to. Coffee has been such an integral part of our life in every moment, that his absence, although fresh, is startling. He was the best companion I could have ever asked for, and I will miss every second of his goofy self.
Coffee and I rarely spent time apart; he went almost everywhere with me, offices, camping, skate trips, surf trips, you name it he’s down no questions asked. He made many friends both human and canine alike, and even got his handsome face on a skateboard. Coffee helped me through several tuff times in my life- offering unwavering love and support without hesitation. He changed my life, and helped me understand what it means to love someone else more than yourself. He loved adventuring and was at peace in any wild space, especially meadows full of wild flowers he could run as fast as he wanted through. Although he lost his battle with cancer, he fought like hell. No more pain, no more doctor visits, no more pills. Only peace.
Life is truly precious, and it’s short. I am going to do my best to live my life like Coffee would have wanted me to, less stress and more meadows filled with wildflowers. Let’s all take a page from his book ❤️
