Thank you to everyone who came out to the Artists to Work reception. It really meant a lot to share this work and space with you all.
I also want to thank the Phoenix Councilwoman for giving me a shout out on the work I have been doing over the years. It was a complete surprise and something I truly did not expect. I really appreciate the support.
Thank you to the @phxartsculture for believing in me and funding this project. The seeds have been planted
For those asking about the installation, it was a one day showcase and has already been taken down. I do plan on displaying it again at some point. It might be soon or later in the year. Weāll see.
Jumping on this design trend with some logos Iāve designed over the years. Some are newer, some are old, and some have come a long way.
Not bad for an untrained designer. Proud of the work Iāve done, but I still have more to learn, or maybe even unlearn. Lately Iāve been wondering if I should finally go back to school for this...
Chasing the sun across volcanic fields of gold. Taken exactly 3 years ago. Maybe itās time to visit again.

This time of year always does something to me.
The things the mind and body carry.
That feeling of being extracted, disposed, erasedā¦
Memories of the past.

We asked Grandma how she felt about turning 85.
She jokingly said, āMe da pena, vivir tantos aƱos.ā
Itās wild to know someone so close to you has lived that much life. So many experiences. So many stories. So much history in one person.
Iām just really grateful to have our grandma. Felicidades š
Photos of the little celebration we held. Full of music, starting at 7am..
It was surreal working on this project from my childhood home in Arcadia, where my parents still live. Having them be part of the process and letting me and my friend take over the space turned every room and corner into a studio.
While the project is far from over, Iām excited to share what weāve built so far.
Iāll be showing it tomorrow at the Artists to Work Reception + Showcase @phxartsculture

Come through! See the amazing work of other artists!

Emile got to see the beginning stages of the project, and we worked while playing music from my late grandfatherās old boombox.
I was heating up so much with everything happening in Minneapolis. Itās so pathetic how this country treats its own citizens, quick to strip people of their humanity. We are in a terrible place. I had to take a step back to cool off. And when I was ready, I came back and showed up with my community.
None of whatās happening is going to deter us from protecting each other. Today, ICE agents killed Renee Nicole Good, a mother to a 6-year-old and a U.S. citizen. I didnāt know her personally, but I know how determined she was to protect her community. Thatās what hurts. It could have been any one of us. We will not normalize this. We will honor the life she leaves behind by continuing to show up for our neighbors.
Self-portraits of 2025. Previously unseen. Some highly cropped. Let me know which one you have thoughts on!
Some didnāt come out the way I liked at the time. Iāve grown to appreciate them now.
