🏡 THE BIKE 🏡
One of my favorite memories as a photographer was co-producing and photographing an editorial for @schonmagazine with friend and actor @jaedenwesley in 2019.
At the time I was completely new to the space but I happened to have a contact at Warner Brothers. I knew Jaeden had recently been in the movie IT so I took a chance and asked my contact if I could borrow a bicycle from the movie.
The next thing I knew I was at the docking bay of the props warehouse putting old Silver in the back of my Ford Transit. It all happened so fast but was the affirmation I needed to know I was doing what I loved.

We’ll miss you here in Los Angeles - yes, selfishly - but we’re also so happy you’re off to be with your beautiful family and live this next chapter fully.

I self identity as a wallflower 😶🌫️ 🌼 and doing the whole glam part of the Grammy events and parties was a little daunting for me!
I was so blessed to have the support of an incredible team who supported me to walk out the door with confidence every day, even if some things were new and unfamiliar (like wearing heels for the first time in 15 years 😵💫)
Huge thanks to @vaanitaoakey for styling for the whole week. It makes such a difference to collaborate with people who are not only creative professionals but deeply understand the spiritual roots that I try to stay connected to in every endeavour.

It was my honour and privilege to wear clothing by several incredible Indian designers. Having grown up with a relationship to textiles, design and craftsmanship of India since a young age, it was an unforgettable experience to interact with these works of art. I’ll post more about them soon!
Have to also mention my husband Kula who is way more well dressed than me 🤩 and helped me navigate as an emotional and creative support throughout 💘
