A brunch that packs a Punch.
Located inside the @legermainhotels Mercer, @punchtoronto is an restaurant with Indian & British influences and they just started their brunch program. The decor is GORGEOUS and you can definitely see the Indian influences in every dish. My favourite was the Bread & Butter French Toast (slide 4) and they even gave out cotton candy at the end which was a lovely touch!
I’ve heard that they have some amazing cocktails here so I’ll definitely have to come back for dinner someday.

I recently made this super easy tangerine peach basil sorbet at home and it was SO good! Don’t worry, I won’t gatekeep so here is the recipe:
1 can tangerines (drained)
1 small can peaches (in juice)
3 tbsp maple syrup
3 large basil leaves (chiffonade)
Combine all the ingredients and mash them up gently before filling your @Ninjakitchencanada CREAMi Swirl pint. Top up with the juice from the peaches can as needed. Freeze overnight.
The next day, give it a spin in your Ninja Swirl™ by CREAMi® Soft Serve & Ice Cream Machine and swirl in your favourite serving glass. Top with a sprig of basil and you can make it extra fancy by pouring some Prosecco. You’re done! It took me about 10 minutes to make this sorbet and it is sure to impress any guests you have over for dinner!
