'Tal'Set' live at Sonora Studios (2025). Big thanks as always to my fav engineer 🔥 Blake Condon for recording this track with me. A kind, humble and organised human who I always enjoy working with.
Shout out to Jack Nigro 🎵 for creating such an amazing recording space and supporting local artists like myself to make experimental music.
Thanks to my mate Ben Jones from Orca Sounds Records (...and a million good bands) 🎸 for filming the track and being a such pro at editing. If we could clone Ben the world would be a better place 🌎
This year I am focusing more and more on supporting and being part of the local arts on the Central Coast and this is a small part of that process. I hope you enjoy 🥁🎹
'DK Mode' live at Sonora Studios (2024) Big thanks to Blake Condon for mixing the drums to make me sound better than I am and thanks to Ben Jones of Trash Stash Records for filming and making me look better than I am 🥁 🔥
Next show will be in Sydney/on Gadigal Country with some special performers Raven 🎻 AND Migret 🔥
$15 entry is helping to raise funds for the treatment of eating disorders (which have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness) via The Butterfly Foundation 🦋

Taking place at Lazy Thinking 🎸 - a brilliant non-for-profit venue run by the immensely kind and driven Jim who is doing some amazing things to support local artists.
Hope to see you there 🎹🥁
Circa 2018, fundraising show I curated @ The Rhythm Hut in Gosford (R.I.P) and one of my earliest shows as Dialectic
❌ No projector 📽️
❌ No smoke machine 🔥
❌ No snare wire 🥁
❌ No 10yrs old roadie 😁
However it is nice to look back and see the early forming of my musical identity and see what my set has now become.
Some images I have been collating 📸 So many wonderful memories performing over the years and I will make some more memories tomorrow night at The Hamo 🎹🥁
Shout out to the Homebrewed folks indulging me last year in our conversation as I attempt to make some sort of point about drumming I think 🤔 Lucky I don't make a living off talking hey! I still don't know if I am a good drummer or not but if you want to see me live my next show in a few weeks 13.05 on Awabakal Land at The Hamo Station 🔥 But don't stress if you miss that show as I have heaps of shows coming up over the next couple of months so stay tuned.
Playing a show on Wednesday May 13th with some talented folks called Funky Dan and Imppposter (**first live performance**) Taking place at the best venue on Awabakal Land and it's free! 🥁🎹 Pop it in the calender and hope to see you there 🚨
There are many ways to be a friend - one important way is to share art and music. I owe a lot to Jacs and Matty for turning me onto this amazing Baltimore band. 'Wrong Side Of Heaven' (2025) honestly is the best political and hardcore album in my opinion. The lyrics, drums and riffs on this album have helped me understand, process and manage these awful times we live in, with the massive rise of fascism and hate. Please do yourself a favor and check out this breathe taking record! It might just change your life 🔥
Brad Wilk (my other drumming idol) liked my comment on his amazing performance on the timeless track 'Snake Charmer' from 1996's album Evil Empire. Many negative side effects as a result of social media, but one positive is being able to communicate directly to our artistic heroes and show gratitude for what they put into the world. For anyone who hasn't listened to this album do yourself a big favour and put it on. Still blows my mind all these years later!
The first rule of being a musician is surround yourself with better players than yourself. Thanks to Ben Jones for adding such killa 🎸 to this Pink Satin track as the outro to my set on Friday night 🔥
