Every few years we take a break from tabling and come to #nyabf as shoppers, friends, enthusiasts. Here are just a few highlights from the heavy bag I took home and some things I couldn’t fit. Thanks to everyone for making so many appealing, thoughtful things.
The font I made for this year’s calendar is based on this amazing cross stitch piece I saw at Hancock Shaker Village. I redrew and made my own variations on it in illustrator, then made two three-dimensional versions in rhino. This is one of them.
Peanopoems I, II, III - new publications that tell the story of my journey to the house of mathematician Giuseppe Peano in Italy, to find a fractal mosaic in his house. Three concrete poems to outline and honor the fractals he defined.
