WHAT AN HONOR! Last Saturday I was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from my alma mater, California College of the Arts
@ccafinearts . I like to savor and process important events in my life without the noise of social media, so I am slow to share.
Being an artist comes with no guarantees. For those of us who have been working for decades, we know that for every artist whose work receives recognition, there are many who work in obscurity whose contributions are equally deserving.
