Creativity doesn’t clock out. Recently, our Creative Director, Evan Denton, took his family to the Fort Worth Zoo and naturally found himself behind the lens. A reminder that the same curiosity and attention to detail we bring to our work often shows up in the things we love outside of it. It wasn’t a planned shoot, just a creative doing what he does. Noticing details, capturing moments, and staying curious. Proud of a team that continues to explore, practice, and grow both in the work and outside of it. #DHDFilms #TeamSpotlight #CreativeLife #Photography #FortWorthZoo #Storytelling #CreativeProcess

Our Chief Success Officer, Hussain Manjee, and our Founder & Creative Director, Shezad Manjee, are attending the first-ever Japan-Texas Economic Summit this week. DHD Films is honored to sponsor this important gathering, bringing together business leaders, investors, government officials, and economic development leaders from across Japan and the United States to explore what is possible when two powerful economies build together. Texas and Japan already share a remarkable economic relationship. Japan is the largest source of foreign direct investment in the United States, with more than $800 billion invested by ultimate ownership as of the end of 2024, and a new $550 billion U.S.-Japan investment commitment signals even more opportunity ahead. At DHD Films, we believe stories move people, connect cultures, and help ideas travel further. That is why we are proud to support moments like this, where business, diplomacy, innovation, and human connection come together. The future of Japan and Texas is bright, and it is being shaped by the leaders in rooms like this one. #JTES #JapanTexas #USJapan #EconomicDevelopment #TexasBusiness #GlobalBusiness #DHDFilms #Storytelling #Leadership #Innovation

The teams getting the most out of AI aren’t treating it like a replacement tool. They’re treating it like a creative catalyst. New workflows create new energy. And sometimes, all it takes is one new way of thinking to break teams out of autopilot. We hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend. We want to take a moment to recognize the moms across our team — for everything they carry, create, and contribute every single day. They are not only incredible mothers, but also thoughtful leaders, creative thinkers, and an essential part of what makes DHD what it is. Thank you for all that you do. 💙 #DHDFilms #MothersDay #TeamCulture #WomenInLeadership #Gratitude #CreativeCommunity #WorkplaceCulture

This is your invitation to stand out from the slop. We’re hosting our next Studio Session — an intimate gathering for in-house creative and marketing leaders navigating the same question: how do we use AI to move faster without watering down the work? Led by our Creative Director, Evan Denton, the session will explore a real production workflow inspired by our AI Bootcamp built for a Fortune 500 client — including what worked, what didn’t, and where craft still has to lead. You’ll leave with a clearer framework for where AI belongs in the creative process. We’re capping the room at 25 to keep the conversation sharp. Cocktails after. "Vai que Cola." ⚽️❤️🥤🧊 === A few years ago, when I wrote “Vai que Cola,” the director’s pitch ethos read: “Vai que Cola” is the Brazilian way of saying, “Go for it. The worst they can do is say no.” It’s the yellow and green stubbornness to look at the odds, laugh in their face, and fight for what you believe in. What I never expected was that making this commercial would become a personification of that very idea. “Vai que Cola” is a narrative of hope inspired by “Pedrinho,” my 8-year-old self. A kid in the deep countryside of Brazil with the purity and naivety to unknowingly challenge the odds of growing up poor in a broken household. An idea that started, like many others, at my kitchen counter, grew into a production involving over 80 people from several countries, all united by a love for storytelling and the beautiful game, football. There are too many names to thank, but this project wouldn’t have seen the light of day without these people: My brothers from another mother, DhD Films executive creative director Shezad Manjee and Amary Films executive producer Emerson Alves, who were the first to say, “Shooting in a Brazilian favela while directing two teams that don’t speak the same language? Yep. LFG.” Jaye Jacobsen, whom I can’t stand 🙄😅, but who became the lifeline to this project, backing my good ideas and calling out the terrible ones. Ask him about the dinosaur story. Apologies for the many heart attacks. Mah broh Diego, with the heart and passion of a child and the DP skills of an old man. A football fanatic and son of a pro player, his excitement was contagious and kept this machine moving. I’m grateful we shared this set. Dan Viana &Julinho Finizola...VOCES SAO FODA!!! Emi, Natty, Karol, Kevyn, Jonathas, the two Vitors, Aleksa, Yas, Garcia, and Renan-- such formidable humans who made this idea their own. MC DZ, the musical soul of the spot, a 17-year-old composer I met by pure serendipity. Hire this kid for your next soundtrack. HUGE THANK YOU to Raimundão and Dna Fátima for opening their home and community. Tavares é lindo demais. Kadu, love you, kiddo ❤️ Please give some love to the cast and crew in the comments.

DHD Films had the opportunity to attend the DA4S Impact with Passion East Coast Conference this week in New Jersey, joining leaders across the life sciences and healthcare industries for a series of conversations, workshops, and meaningful connections. Hosted by DA4S (Diversity Alliance for Science), an organization focused on advancing supplier diversity and fostering partnerships within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and clinical sectors, the conference brings together executives, innovators, and suppliers in a uniquely collaborative environment. Grateful for the insights, relationships, and perspective gained throughout the week, and for the opportunity to be part of a community committed to progress and impact. #DHDFilms #DA4S #LifeSciences #HealthcareInnovation #SupplierDiversity #IndustryNetworking #ProfessionalGrowth

DHD Films was honored to be featured in The Dallas Morning News following the reveal of the new Virtual Production Soundstage at Dallas College. In partnership with the institution and powered by Vu Technologies, we helped bring cutting-edge virtual production tools into the classroom. The soundstage allows students to simulate dynamic, 3D environments used in professional film, TV, and immersive media workflows, giving them hands-on experience with the same technology shaping today’s entertainment industry. This initiative comes at a time when virtual production roles are in growing demand across North Texas and beyond, creating new pathways into high-growth careers without requiring a four-year degree. We’re proud to collaborate on a space that expands access to industry-forward training and prepares the next generation of creators for what’s ahead. Content demands are increasing. Timelines are not. For in-house creative teams, that tension is becoming impossible to ignore. More channels. More formats. More campaigns. More pressure to move fast without watering down the work. That’s why we built our AI Bootcamp. Led by our Creative Director, Evan Denton, this hands-on program helps in-house teams move beyond AI theory and into real creative application — concepting, writing, casting, visual development, production, sound, and post. Not someday. Now. Our first cohort put it to the test by creating fully original branded videos from scratch, using AI as a creative accelerator without losing the human instinct that makes the work worth watching. Watch the launch film. 👇 If your in-house team is ready to rethink how creative work gets made, let’s talk. #AIBootcamp #CreativeTechnology #InHouseCreative #BrandMarketing #ArtificialIntelligence #DHDfilms

This past Friday night, we were proud to bring home Silver from AAF District 10 at the American Advertising Awards Gala for our National Medal of Honor documentary trailer, “Valor and Victory.” Back in District 10 for the first time in over a decade, the Gala brought together some of the brightest minds in advertising from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana for a night of recognition, connection, and inspiration. Honored to be among them. Proud of the work. Excited for what’s next. #DHDFilms hashtag#AmericanAdvertisingAwards hashtag#AAFDallas hashtag#CreativeExcellence
