Emerging UK talent Dharma returns to R&S Records with a brace of tracks on the ‘One Clean Sock’ single.
His new single for Belgium powerhouse R&S Records follows previous releases for the label, 2024’s ‘Gracie’ EP and 2023’s ‘Structured Chaos’, as featured on the ‘In Order To Dance 4.0’ album. Shadowy electro vibes and dense bassline establish the mood on ‘One Clean Sock’, whilst accompanying track ‘Questions’ is lighter in tone with sparking keys and mammoth synth pads engulfing a steady and propulsive rhythm.

Having already released on labels like as Lone Romantic and Permanent Vacation, @dharmatunes now makes his debut on @randsrecords . In many ways, the UK producer's debut draws on the seminal label's legacy. The title track's robust drums and jarring bass tones recall the atonal experiments of Aphex Twin's work. "Questions" also makes a connection with other parts of the R&S back catalogue. The track's skipping break beats and chiming, jazzy keys recall Alex Reece's sound, while the ominous bass that powers the arrangement sounds inspired by Joey Beltram's sub-bass led techno.
