Yes, that's a real AMOLED panel. And yes, it bends. DFR1262 — 6.67" flexible AMOLED, 2400x1080, 1.2mm thin. The kind of panel that usually only ships inside a phone. We bundled it with a MIPI-to-HDMI board so it actually works with Raspberry Pi and LattePanda out of the box. No custom drivers, no MIPI debugging, no soldering tiny B2B connectors. Just HDMI. /product-3113.html #NewArrivals #FlexibleDisplay #RaspberryPi

An $8.90 radar that sees you breathing. PIR gives up the moment you sit still. C4002 doesn't — 24GHz FMCW, covers a 10×10m room, separates moving, static, and micro-moving targets. Drops into Home Assistant via ESPHome with the verified YAML. Occupancy, Distance, and Energy entities show up automatically. What would you automate first once your house actually knows you're there? 🔗 /product-3081.html #HomeAssistant #mmWave

Nice build! "Make the invisible visible" — Project Aura is a finished ESP32-S3 air-quality station with LVGL touch UI, web dashboard, and Home Assistant out of the box. Tracks PM0.5–PM10, CO, CO2, VOC, NOx, HCHO + a swappable gas slot (NH3/SO2/NO2/H2S/O3). Sensirion SEN66 handles the core, with our SEN0466 (CO) and GP8403 DAC for 0-10V fan control. NO2 or O3 — which would you slot in? 🤖For more detaiils: /21cncstudio/project_aura #ESP32 #HomeAssistant

200 posts, one ESP32-C3, zero cloud. @heyvictorfrost built Community Hub, a solar-powered local bulletin board that lives inside Wi-Fi range of the device. People connect, land on a captive portal, and post notices, offers, needs, or events for the neighborhood. The part we love: it treats “local computing” as something physical. A tiny server in a lantern, running LittleFS, OTA updates, JSON backups, and a board that only matters to people nearby. This would be a fun one to rebuild with a Beetle ESP32-C3 and a solar power setup. A 10-year family dashboard build, finally documented. Joel Hawksley's "Timeframe": e-paper screens on the fridge, in the mudroom, in the bedroom — calendar, weather, smart home, all glanceable, all sunlight-readable. Stack: Raspberry Pi + Rails + Home Assistant, fresh image every 5 minutes. Centerpiece is a 25.3" Boox Mira Pro. Most smart home builds don't survive ten weeks. This one survived ten years. /2026/02/17/timeframe.html #Makers #DIY #ePaper #SmartHome #RaspberryPi

Nice build! A distraction-free e-ink typewriter for ~$40. That's it. Orange Pi Zero 2W + a 4.2" e-ink screen, bring your own USB keyboard. 🔥 3D-printed foldable case, no supports needed. Bluetooth file transfer to grab your docs — no WiFi required. Even has a Raspberry Pi fork if that's more your thing. 🤖For more details: https://hackaday.io/project/205065-etyper

Super cool build! A fully pneumatic seven-segment clock — no LEDs, just vacuum-pulled silicone membranes that latch in place using air-powered transistors. 🔥 Arduino drives the solenoid valves, four digits multiplexed with shared data lines — same logic as electronic displays, but running on air. All 3D-printed and cast in silicone. What would you build with pneumatic logic gates? 👉For more details: /2026/04/11/a-suction-driven-seven-segment-display/

##newarrıvals 3 minutes from unboxing to live sensor data in TouchDesigner. Zero code. Not a single line. WIAnode has a built-in MQTT server — no broker setup, no Arduino IDE, no serial monitors. Plug sensor in, edit a Wi-Fi text file over USB-C, done. Also works with Unity, Unreal, Max/MSP, and vvvv. Best part? Multiple software instances can pull from one node simultaneously. $39.90. What's your current sensor-to-visuals pipeline look like? 👉For more details: /product-3109.html

Offline GPS + LoRa mesh chat + team tracking in one handheld — zero cell coverage needed. And the code? AI-generated under human guidance. 🏔️ Trail Mate is an open-source ESP32 project packing offline maps, Meshtastic-compatible messaging, and real-time team positioning. Sub-GHz channel scanning and Codec2 voice walkie-talkie too. Probably one of the most complete AI-assisted hardware projects I've seen. What's your take — can vibe-coding work for embedded? /vicliu624/trail-mate #Makers #OpenSource

2.7 meters long. Syringe-based ballast tanks. Oil-filled servos. This RC submarine build by James is absolutely wild. Everything worked great... until the 3D-printed parts started absorbing water through the infill under pressure. Nearly lost the whole thing to the bottom of the lake. Lesson learned: waterproofing is THE hard problem in submarine builds. A depth sensor like the Gravity Water Pressure Sensor (/product-1675.html) would've been clutch here — set a safe depth limit before those prints start soaking. A Raspberry Pi-powered writerdeck built for one purpose — journal before bed, lock it away, never look back. Shmimel couldn't sleep, tried journaling, but hated re-reading old entries. So he built Bee Write Back: a 5.5" AMOLED screen, mechanical keyboard, battery-powered Pi Zero 2 W — all in a 3D printed shell for ~$200. It even runs a Claude chat client. The whole thing is open source with full CAD files, build guide PDF, and print profiles. What's your ideal writerdeck setup — e-ink or AMOLED? 👇 /shmimel/bee-write-back #Makers #RaspberryPi
