SUB_tl 094 "Tonal 012" Various Artists is now on sale!!. It's been a while since our last Tonal series release, and here we go again. For this 12 installment we have some usual members of the family onboard as well as good old friends from the past like neapolitan Random Noize as Dez. On the family side, Bebhionn with his new project Organism, Infinite Size, Lefrenk, Deepnaut and Korben Nice keep our sound alive. Release starts with Organism and his track "Unforeseen", a mental techno exercise, ideal to keep the pace on a busy dancefloor. Korben Nice speeds up the tempo, enforces the kick and adds a nice scifi bleep action to the vibe with The Ropes. Following the italian producer Dez (Random_Noize) brings the funk on "Do ut Des", intense, floaty and super dynamic. Watch out for the broken beat in the middle… Deepnaut gives his hardest side here with "Demente", swinging the drums, adding the necessary dose of overdrive but preserving his traditional Detroit vibe. Our agent in Galicia, Lefrenk shows again his own personal approach on techno, providing a superb take on danceable electronics with his track "After the Trip". Last but not least, Infinite Size goes galactic with "Fuera del Baremo", tension and hypnosis altogether. We are super happy to have such a nice bunch of talented artists in our spaceship. Davide Rovito, aka Dez (Random/Noize), has been active on the scene since the mid-1980s and from the very beginning shared the decks with highly regarded artists. In 1996 he co-founded the Random/Noize project, releasing music on labels such as Design Music and Audiodrome. Shortly after, he also founded his own labels: Informale and De Styl. Between 1996 and 1998 he was a resident DJ at Livello 57 in Bologna From 2000 to 2005, under the alias Dez, he was part of the Defrag Sound Processing project, and between 2022 and 2023 he created, together with Fulvia De Micco and Marie-Thérèse the multimedia performance Visonora and founded the label Tienmcateteng -Link in bio-

SABATO 27 SETTEMPRE AL PUNK TANK CAFE' IL DJ SET DI DEZ - RANDOM NOIZE Davide Rovito aka Dez (Random/Noize) dal 1990 tra i protagonisti della scena elettronica italiana. Sviluppa il suo stile con “Passaggi e Mutazioni di Fine Millennio”, performance multimediale incentrata sul significato sociale dell'arte nella cultura underground. Successivamente si trasferisce a Londra dove suona e collabora con "Institute of Goa" accanto ad artisti del calibro di Chris, Aaron e Julian Liberator. Nel ‘96, dalla collaborazione con Carlo Notarangelo e Massimo Luciano, nasce il trio Random/Noize che pubblicherà tre release sull'etichetta di Marco Carola "Design Music" e una release per la storica etichetta spagnola Audiodrome. Random/Noize, produrrà anche un live set proposto in diversi club e fonderà due etichette: "Informale" e "De Styl”. Tra il ‘96 e il ‘98 è resident dj al Livello 57 di Bologna. Dal 2000 al 2005, con l’aka di Dez si dedica alla creazione del progetto minimal techno "Defrag Sound Processing" (DSP recordings) un'etichetta ma anche un “sistema” aperto in cui si univano realtà diverse associate dallo stesso "noise" e attitudini "non conformi". È stato citato e/o intervistato in: De:Bug Magazine, Stampa Alternativa "Mondo Techno" di Andrea Benedetti, Documentary film "Tunza Tunza" (Canal Plus in Francia, la 7 in Italia). Ha condiviso la consolle con artisti del calibro di: Chris, Aaron and Julian Liberator, Spiral Tribe, Damon Wild, Lory D, Ken Ishii, Dave Clarke, Marco Carola, Rino Cerrone, Gaetek, Retina.it, Dj Rush, Richie Hawtin, Carl Craig, Stewart Walker, Leo Anibaldi, Lory D, Marco Passarani, G-Man (Ex LFO),Patrick Skoog, Sebastien Bromberger, Victor Martinez (Error Etica), Submerge.
