As a little girl, I remember waking up on Saturdays to the sound of my dad singing highlife classics while cooking. He has always had a voice that could fill a room. Often with a glass of wine in hand, feet stretched out on the couch, he would sing and share stories from his years in Ghana—stories of bartending, translating songs, and the life he once lived.
Those moments shaped me. They are where my love for creativity, music, and storytelling were first born. People often laugh and call me an old soul for listening to the timeless music of our parents’ generation. But that’s my inheritance—it comes from my dad.
Now, through this collection, I carry that legacy forward, weaving memory, faith, and artistry into the fabric of House of AC.
