The @jcpenney fashion segment truly brought career readiness to the yard through looks that felt polished, practical, and still true to the students wearing them.
From suiting to separates, it was a reminder that a polished style doesn’t have to feel stiff. It can have personality. It can carry confidence. It can still feel like Union.

Right now, DIALLO’s work is not just about creating clothes. It’s about creating access.
Through @striveacademyathu we’re focused on helping students and emerging entrepreneurs see what’s possible when fashion, education, and experience all meet in one room.
At Hampton University, that looked like a fireside chat led by our friend and HU Alum @MelRWhite , a campus TV conversation, and real dialogue around building with purpose.
The clothes will always tell the story — but the mission is bigger than product.
Education. Access. Experience. That’s the work 🪶
When your @vuupresident speaks life into the vision, you get to work!
And the assignment is never just to look good.
It’s building confidence.
It’s allowing access.
It’s shifting the culture.

Fashion is the tool. The student experience is the mission.
