At first, immediately yes, then no… then, maybe… yes. Then NOPE. Then…. Absolutely, immediately, 5 stars.
I’m staring at the wall for the next few days.
One of the characters said this, and it expresses how I felt entirely about this book and the ride this was.
I won’t say who, because if you’re going to read this book, you’re most likely treating trigger warnings like a menu and are going to go in blind, (good girl 😂🤭)

This book made me feel so many things, a lot of it being dread and somber appreciation for the absolute horror that goes on in silence, and how traumatized people survive in ways that are THEIR WAYS to cope.
