The reason we’re perfect for outdoors and lifestyle brands? It’s what we love! Devote’s Founders, Kahlee and Tim, with a couple local 20kg+ hoos. As the second fastest fish in the ocean, spearos tend to aim for the tail with Wahoo, making these text book shots 🎯 A tail shot slows them down faster - if you’re lucky it allows you to get them in your hands before the sharks catch up! 🙌🏼

To the mums who dive in with us from the very beginning, teaching first breath holds, sharing early mornings on the boat, celebrating every little milestone, and passing on a love for the ocean, thank you. Some of our best memories in the water started with a mum who said yes to the adventure, packed the gear, and jumped in beside us every step of the way. From all of us at Adreno, we hope all the incredible mums out there have had a beautiful Mother’s Day. 💙

We just want to say a massive thank you to our incredible team and ambassadors who took the time out of their busy lives to be part of this. We know how much goes on behind the scenes for everyone, so having you there, fully present and up for it all, genuinely meant a lot to us. Getting everyone together like this, sharing ideas, testing gear, and just enjoying a few days off-grid is something pretty special. The conversations, the laughs, and the honest feedback you all gave us is something we truly value. A lot of what was spoken about will directly shape what’s to come, and we couldn’t ask for a better crew to help guide that. We spent the night camping out at the stunning Chapman Valley, and yes… were we tempted to get everyone out on a surprise horse ride? Absolutely. Did we spare you all? Also yes 😂 Instead, we hit the tracks in some epic OEM vehicles, exploring the bush while hunting for hidden treasure. Rolling back into camp, we slowed things down around the fire, treated to some incredible food by @woodfiredstove under a sky full of stars. One of those nights you wish you could bottle up. The next morning, @woodfiredstove was straight back into it, cooking up a proper brekky while @dogandguncoffee kept everyone fuelled. We all gathered around, shared a few final laughs, and wrapped things up by calling the winner of the scavenger hunt… which, let’s be honest, we all kind of knew already. Proof was presented, points were tallied, and yes… the poop photos made an appearance. Seriously, who still has that on their phone? 🫣😂 Taking out first place was @thelifestylepioneers … congratulations you legends, well deserved! We’re beyond grateful for this community and everything you bring to it. This was just the beginning, and we can’t wait to do it all again soon! 🙌

We’ve just wrapped up a week on the road, living out of the Super Duty with Central New South Wales locked in as the destination 🏔️ What waited for us was more than just an event, it was a chance to connect, share stories, and spend time with some of our favourite people who live and breathe the outdoors the same way we do. A big shoutout to Rhino-Rack, MAXTRAX, TRED, and the teams at Devote and Clarus for putting together such an incredible opportunity. Dermie and I are genuinely grateful for the invite, and even more so for the time spent behind the scenes with the people who make it all happen. We recently helped one of our clients @daiwaaustralia roll out the O.N.E premiere, a sold-out national film tour for one of their latest reels. We're talking cinemas, breweries, five cities across Australia, and a fishing community that showed up in a big way. The best part? Seeing a room full of like-minded people experiencing it together. That's something a digital campaign alone can't deliver. The tour's done, but the film is now live online so if you didn't make it to a screening, go check it out. It's a seriously good watch. Big props to the Daiwa team, along with our own Digital Marketing Manager @kristy.field for pulling together this epic event. 👊

It's been a wild (quite literally) start to the year, and I couldn't be happier about it! Grateful to everyone who is helping me to pick up the new skill of hunting on land, and for the chance to find my way back to the water for some spearfishing. If you're on the fence about trying these things, or if your 3yo daughter says "mum, maybe you're just not good at it" when you shoot high on a boar, just remember that it's better to be bad at this than good at sitting on the couch.
