Posting one of my more pivotal moments from my music career at York. I’m truly grateful for being given this chance by faculty at school.
Growing up in church I would sing gospel EVERYWHERE and I always felt out of place because NO ONE knew what I was singing or didn’t care for it. It wasn’t until coming to York that I have found people that appreciate the genre as much as I do and have been able to involve myself as a horn player.
This song You Are Good by @israelhoughton is an oldie but a goodie and has definitely gone triple platinum in my household🙂↕️
And I cherish and love the time I spent playing with everyone on that stage🫶🏾

I finally did it wow.🫣
Anyways welcome to my music page I guess??? Finally breaking into this point of my career out of 1) peer pressure haha and 2) I want somewhere to showcase my own achievement to let my myself know that I can.
Even though I have completed a music degree I spent and still spend a lot of time questioning my own skills and abilities and I wanted to prove to myself that I am more than those thoughts.
This first clips comes from our end of year concert where I had a chance to play 5 instruments during the concert to help fill in other parts.
While I may not post here often I want it to be a reminder to myself that I am more than capable and I WILL reshape and rethink the Canadian music industry in my own way.
