How do you show overwhelm on screen without overwhelming the viewer?
That was the core challenge for this Quotient explainer. They needed something that captured the weight of running a marketing department, and then the relief of simplifying it.
We adjusted the standard SaaS formula to lean into a team-first narrative. The flock of cursors was our way of making "expanded outcomes" feel tangible and visual rather than just corporate jargon.

2025 was a big year for Devon House Creative.
We spent the year refining our process and working with some incredible clients.
We are going into 2026 stronger, more focused, and proud of the work we’re putting into the world.
Proud to be building motion design with great people, right here in the Midwest.
Check out our 2025 Demo Reel!
We recently wrapped a batch of social videos for Civics Break, an initiative from the Bolch Judicial Institute at Duke University.
Such a fun project, marrying bright, poppy with a collage-style animation approach.
Really proud of our team and the work we’re putting into the world right now!
Ever scroll past a wall of text, but stop for a moving graphic? That’s the power of animation.
Motion graphics are animated designs that bring text, shapes, and visuals to lif, explaining ideas quickly and clearly.
Unlike traditional video or character animation, motion graphics lean on design principles to simplify complex messages and make information engaging.
That’s the power of visual storytelling: it turns the complicated into engagement, and the invisible into something concrete.
Finding a single source of truth can be complicated.
Most law firms are siloed, like floors in a building, making data scattered and hard to trust.
We got to partner with Jenny Tod of Jenny Tod Creative on this explainer for Entegrata, showing how their turnkey Azure data platform breaks down those silos and connects everything into one source of truth.
Super fun project to help visualize.
At DHC, we love shining a spotlight on the creatives who inspire us—and Ordinary Folk is at the top of that list.
Their work blends complex techniques with striking visual simplicity, creating a style and pace that’s instantly recognizable. Whether it’s 2D, 3D, or a seamless mix of both, every frame feels intentional and beautifully composed.
If you haven’t seen their work yet, do yourself a favor and check it out.
We got to team up with our good friend Jay Sheets on this explainer video for Cleverbridge.
In case you’re not familiar, Cleverbridge is a one‑stop Merchant of Record solution that handles everything you’d rather not worry about—from global payments, taxes, compliance, and fraud prevention to subscription billing and optimized checkouts.
For this project, we wanted to bring a complex tech platform to life in a simple, intuitive way. We leaned into UI elements, token animations, and connecting lines to visually map out the web of global ecommerce flows.
Here are four look‑and‑feel samples from the final video. Let us know which ones stand out to you!
Gen Con is back in Indy this week!
Every year, 70,000+ fans gather downtown for one of the biggest tabletop gaming conventions in North America, bringing in over $75 million for local businesses.
It’s an incredible week for the city, and one of my favorite events of the year.
We’ve been going for years, and if you’ve never been, this is the year to check it out.
One of my favorite recent projects was a series we created for Downtown Muncie in collaboration with Intersection Advertising.
We developed short animated sections to open each video, designed to contrast the common frustrations of suburban sprawl with the walkable, people-focused amenities of a revitalized downtown.
The creative challenge was striking: how do you make the problems eye-catching without overstating them? We aimed for visuals that felt clean and restrained yet still communicated the tension.
Really proud of the style and tone we landed on for this one.

Exaggeration is where animation comes alive. It’s the principle that pushes actions, expressions, and movements beyond realism, not for distortion’s sake, but to heighten clarity, emotion, and personality.
Whether it’s a character’s jaw-dropping reaction or a squash-and-stretch that sells the weight of a fall, exaggeration adds drama, humor, and energy. It helps your audience feel the moment, not just see it.
Great animation isn’t about replicating reality. It’s about amplifying it to tell a better story.
What Are Moodboards?
Ever tried explaining a creative idea and felt like words just weren’t cutting it?
That’s where moodboards come in.
They’re a collection of visuals—colors, typography, textures, motion references—that help lock in the vibe before any animation begins. It’s how we get everyone on the same page, fast.
Moodboards bridge the gap between an idea in your head and something the whole team can see, feel, and build from.
Because sometimes, showing > telling.
