Swedish Lapland part 2-
Skaite, where you come for the artic greyling on the TsielekjƄhkkƄ river, but stay for the monster Northern Pike! Our second location with @saveurthejourney offered a whole different landscape, where you could target many different species. The greylings and brown trout smashing the surface on drys and the pike chasing huge streamers straight to your boat. Nothing like watching the wake of a pike swimming towards your fly.
This leg required a heli drop in to Vidars family homestead. No power, no running water, no problem. When you have 24 hour daylight you lose track of time, so you may find yourself on the water until 2am.
