Croteam e Devolver Digital hanno annunciato The Talos Principle 3, capitolo conclusivo della saga, pensato come un viaggio cosmico attraverso una dozzina di mondi inediti e costellato di enigmi completamente nuovi.
Fin dal debutto la serie non ha mai avuto paura di spingersi nel territorio della filosofia, ma questa volta l’ambizione sembra ancora più alta. Dopo un risveglio agitato, il protagonista si ritrova nella misteriosa Anomalia, un luogo sospeso tra rovine di templi e tecnologia abbandonata, dove le leggi della fisica sembrano incrinarsi o smettere di funzionare del tutto.
Avanzando puzzle dopo puzzle, il giocatore dovrà ricomporre la memoria di questo esploratore cosmico e, nel processo, ricostruire anche i frammenti della storia dell’umanità. L’uscita è prevista nei prossimi mesi su PC e PlayStation 5, anche se al momento manca ancora una data precisa.

What differentiates a story from the real world, or a simulation? A story is a series of choices, a set of moments captured, examined, and elevated. The real world goes on and on, but a story must have a clear beginning, middle, and end. And so the Talos Principle, a story we have worked on for more than a decade, must also come to an end.
When we were creating the original, at a time when the game had finally started to take form but before it was released, we asked ourselves: where does this story go? Not this franchise, not this product, but this story. Is there more to this that needs to be told, and what is it that needs to be captured by those hypothetical future games to create something truthful and beautiful? That's when The Talos Principle II and III were born, and they are so much part of the overall vision that we often think of the whole trilogy as one game in three chapters. Three moments in the history of robotic humanity that together form a bigger picture.
Just as Talos II was not the same game as Talos I, so this last game in the series will be unique in its own ways. But we've poured all the same love and consideration into this chapter as we have into the others, building the future world humanity created for itself after the events of Talos II, the mysterious place called the Anomaly, and of course the ingenious new puzzles you'll have to solve, featuring a host of new mechanics.

This week’s crossover? Guinness officials arrived to verify the “world’s fastest lab escape”… only for Carrion to burst through the walls and accidentally set a new record for “most scientists traumatised in under ten seconds.” Tough category to beat, honestly. 😅🏆🩸

🎮 En un mundo maldito, Alba y su compañero Neva tendrán que enfrentarse a ciertas fuerzas oscuras. Un viaje que, según avance la historia, se volverá peligroso y en el que tendrán que cooperar juntos para sobrevivir y construir un nuevo hogar .
🐺 Estos videojuegos indies me encantan, porque la historia es tan emotiva que con una narrativa donde no hay diálogos logran tocarte el corazón y sí, también hacerte llorar tratando temas como los vínculos, la maternidad (en muchas facetas) y el duelo. Sin duda, se convierte en uno de mis indies favoritos junto a Gris.
