What a season it’s been here in Tennessee. Thankful for these wonderful times in the woods watching God’s creations come to life. What state should I go to next?
Opening day here in Tennessee and the last day of being 29 years old. Feeling very blessed and very excited about what my 30s might bring. Thank you Lord for gobbling turkeys and good times!
2026 Tennessee Youth Hunt
I can truly say… Turkey hunting is just different. It’s the only hunting where I could truly watch other people behind the trigger and still get the same satisfaction. To watch a kid pull the trigger and harvest this animal is such a joy. I love kids. I hope all kids have the opportunity to go hunt and enjoy the outdoors. The outdoors is such a special place. Enjoy it. The Lord has blessed us all in so many ways. Thank you to this long beard for playing the game against us. We enjoyed winning this one.
I wish I grew up chasing these birds as a kid in Alabama. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about turkey hunting, it’s that a gobbling long beard in the Deep South hardwoods means just a little more. The gobbles hit deeper, the woods feel more alive and almost every game plan is in need of an audible. I’m thankful for it everytime though!
