I don’t post much personal stuff here anymore, but to whom it may concern, here’s me and the reason it takes longer to answer your emails these days. Meet Sonny, my most important work to date.
It can feel a bit strange sharing these parts of ourselves in spaces like this, but the older I get, the more I believe that the work we must do in this capitalist landscape as entrepreneurs and/or employees to pay for life, for better or worse, is inseparable from who we are. The connections we build and choose aren’t just about money, skill, status and/or efficiency - they’re about people too. Or at least they should be. I’m a dad, a husband, a musician and a graphic designer in that order. Each role influences eachother.
I’m endlessly grateful for the incredible mix of past, longtime and new clients who’ve trusted me along the way, and for the simple fact that I still get to do this on my own terms, with no website, no outreach and no annual ‘happy holidays’ cards haha. Being able to work to live instead of the other way around has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Part of me is surprised that the well has never run dry tbh, but there’s always something to work on. What a gift. Thank you. I love what I do and hopefully the work speaks for itself. I’m as passionate as ever and excited about everything I’ve got going on and whatever’s next 🎨
Anyways, feeling a little sentimental today, reflecting on more than a decade of being my own boss and all the unexpected paths that led me here.

For this second instalment of the event, we invited some of our friends/artists to contribute works inspired by their own interpretations of the concept. I’ll be playing a stripped down set of my music inspired by my time here by the ocean as well.
I have deep respect and admiration for what both María & @comin_in_hottensen have cultivated here with this space, in this community, and I’m genuinely grateful to have the opportunity to fill it with the work I’m most passionate about—my songs.
So looking forward to the event and to seeing how it continues to evolve ♾️ 🌊
