✨💜✨ TONY CRAZE ✨💜✨ I’m astounded to announce that my play, ‘Mother Tongue’, was long-listed for the @sohotheatre Tony Craze Award 2025. I’m beyond grateful for the recognition of my work. It has been a whirlwind process being taken on by them for the Writers Lab - considering it’s popularity and highly-competitive nature. I applied on a whim, if I’m honest. I didn’t really have a clear idea about what I wanted to do other than write a play and meet other writers in London. It was a difficult process that was frequently frustrating - and I didn’t think the work I produced had much merit. So it’s quite nice to see the panel saw something in it, even if I didn’t. I’m grateful to everyone at the Labs Team, particularly my mentor Jenny Baskt, and @julesmhaworth for guiding us through the arduous process. And to my fellow long-list and short-listers, who made the process feel ever-so-slightly normal. Congratulations to everyone involved! I look forward to seeing this next generation of writers, thinkers, and makers shift Britain’s theatre world in exciting new directions!!

#dinner Last night, we gathered around tables where each course carried a Dilemma 😉. Between meals, we spoke about power, responsibility, and what remains when saving the world is no longer guaranteed. The dinner wasn’t about solutions, it was about honesty. Appreciative of the opportunity to create a space gathering beautiful people in discourse, discovery and collaboration. We ended with a question, if there was no hope would we still care…leaving us sitting with the weight of responsibility not as something abstract or collective, but as something each of us must navigate. #dilemma #london
